System tray new each time an app updates say ex discord etc it loses its positition in the task bar bar can you make them like in windows 10 not move?

Please post windows version and build. You can find this by running winver. Please include if you are running x86-64 or Arm. And what language your windows is in.
Please post explorer patcher version, by running EP properties application and click on About on the left side.

In the settings app, untick "Get the latest updates as soon as available" so that preview updates are not automatically installed.

All preview updates are then shown as download and install and are never automatically installed if you have the above unticked.

Preview updates are also not fully tested by Microsoft and thus could have bugs.

if you're not showing all system tray icons, you can drag and drop the icon in the system tray to the popup menu that you don't want shown.

That is normal when an application closes that has a system tray icon and then is reopened.

Windows is showing the system tray icons in what it perceives as most used and hiding ones that are not used. This is a duplicate of: #1454

You can either drag and drop it each time it gets moved, or you can show all.
