do ExPatcher add a ghost langage (en-US) in langage bar ?

Hi everyone,

I strongly suspect that ExPatcher is adding an extra ghost language to my language bar. The button does not disappear because it only disappears if there is only one language. In my case, I have this button which opens a pop-up for FRA (my language) and English (US). If I reinstall this language and then uninstall it, the button/bar disappears, but it reappears when I reboot.

I uninstalled ExPatcher, removed the button by installing/uninstalling English (US), and after rebooting, the language button/bar was no longer there. However, after reinstalling ExPatcher, the button came back.

Can someone confirm this annoying behavior and suggest a way to eradicate it forever?

I don't know if it will be suffisant. The first pick show the langage bar pop-up, with two langage French/FR and english/US
and the second, into parameters/langage the fact that there is only "one langage"

other thing, it's he version of windows 11, i bought it, and install it last week on a new PC
version windows familly : 24H2  – installed 01/04/2025  –  build 26100.3775

does this happen on the windows 10 (explorerpatcher) taskbar or the windows 11 taskbar?

its already done upper pyrates999... the first dark grey pick is what happened when i click on the language icons of the win10EP taskbar... the second, white is about langage parameters of win11

I see 2 pictures only. The first one shows the taskbar on the left side with the language popup on the right side. The second one shows your language settings.

it's gonna be difficult to get aggry together...

• because, as show in the second pick, i got only one language [FRA] insalled on win 11, and the first pick is what happenned when i click on the EP implemented win taskbar... there is two langage available, [FRA-fr] and [ENG-us]... and the second comes with Explorerpatcher... if i uninstall it... this behaviour disparear... and comes black with the reinstallation.

well, i did many thing to get it off, i went in the C:/programs/ExplorerPatcher to see if it was possible to change it somewhere... i've put FRA as language of the app, and get if off to [use the language default]... i used ressourcesHackers to see if some parameter could be moved, used RegsitryChangedView to the key which where changed at the "reboot" and where adding this "extra" language...

finally, without any other possibility, i think that i'm gonna do an "issue" instead of a discussion
