To be fair, Microsoft certainly just didn't update that part of explorer since Windows NT 4.0, released in 1996. The 1998 convention didn't exist at the time |

Currently in File Explorer, columns like Size and Total Size only display sizes in KB (which is actually a false representation since Microsoft has been using Kibibytes instead of Kilobytes).
Would it be possible to multiply the value by 1.024 and display it with the appropriate scaled units (MB, GB, TB, etc.) in the File Explorer rather than the not-directly-useful value that we currently see? Apologies if this is not particularly straightforward to implement with Windows as it is.
