Try uninstalling EP and then reinstalling EP from: https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/releases When upgrading windows 11 to 24h2, you're supposed to uninstall EP before hand. You did not have control over this, so not your fault. If this is a work computer, be aware that you need administrative privileges to uninstall, install, and update EP. |

@pyrates999 Thank you, this worked. I was granted temporary admin rights and was able to uninstall and reinstall. Unfortunately, my previously set Quick Launch taskbar has disappeared and needs to be re-created, but at least I can have it back. |

Hello, thanks for reading. I'm not very technical, but can usually muddle my way through. I'm unable to find a solution to this after searching, so apologies if it's answered elsewhere.
My office computer was upgraded to Windows 11 24H2 26100.4061 last night, and I have now lost my QuickLaunch bar again.
I've followed the directions as far as changing the taskbar style, but do not have the option for Windows 10 (ExplorerPatcher) in the pull down menu. Anyone able to refer me to any settings that might be blocking this option?
I haven't been able to Uninstall / Reinstall, as I don't have local admin rights and our software is installed through a TechHub. If I need to go that route, I'll reach out to IT, but ExplorerPatcher does seem to be installed correctly and functioning otherwise.
Thanks!
