Well if nothing else, thank you for posting this. I was looking for this too and I didn't know about Windhawk. I tried 3 different tools to get rid of either the W10 ribbon menu or the W7 command bar (either one really), and couldn't do it until seeing this. Shame that the program has to be running, although you mentioned the tray icon, you can hide the tray icon at least. |

EP is also running at the time to do everything it does. I don't see the big deal to run windhawk considering how many background processes are running already in windows. Seeing the system tray icon for it doesn't bother me. |

You can drag and drop the windhawk icon in the system tray to the popup menu that you don't want shown. |

There are 2 windows 11 styles but, what i mean is, like windhawk has an option to remove it.

The windhawk program is good, but I find that it runs processes in the background and need a tray icon to stay active, and in that regard, explorer patcher is better.
