Live tiles have always been unstable in 22621 onwards. We have no plans of fixing it as Microsoft has removed the Windows 10 start menu in 26xxx builds. Duplicate of: #1621 Please close this. |

This may no longer be supported because windows 11 24h2 removed the windows 10 start menu files, so EP implemented its own windows 10 start menu. |

Yeah, I guess so. Anyway, I think it would be a great addon. Dunno how many people think that would be a good idea, but its practical. Thanks for the answer and I hope you think about it. Do you want me to close this now? |

Keep it open as it is a suggestion and the developers here will decide to implement it or not, not me. |

I searched for it but did not find such a topic. Hey Guys.
In Win10 I have a registry-hack, that locks or unlocks those tiles. This is pretty great, when your fumbling fingers move those tiles accidently. But now this doesnt work anymore. It was this reg-entry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer]
"LockedStartLayout"=dword:00000001
To clarify what it does: This Win10-Hack removed the ability to add or remove tiles from the start menu, including getting rid of the entry "attach to start" in context menus.
Would love to see this in the future as an option (or if someone wants to tell me how to achieve that)
