Windows 10 taskbar (unmerged), Wider (or dynamic) item width

Currently the width of every item in the (unmerged) windows10 taskbar is equal.

However, it would be awesome if it could be dynamically managed to fit the length of title of that window.
Of course, there will be some maximal size, but I want to maximally utilize the length of my monitor.

where would these settings be stored? how would windows identify each program that is running in the taskbar in a window?

this is beyond what EP is for I think and something MS would have to implement.
