Weird Border Around Some Items

I'm on Windows 11 24h2, and I'm using the normal Windows 11 Start Menu with Windows 10 flyouts for Network, Volume, and Date and Time.

I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of these weird borders that I get? One thing to note is that, they do go away, until I next click the icon to get the flyout (except they rarely come back in the Start Menu), if I click anywhere within the flyout (seemingly indicating that they are some sort of item focus (maybe for keyboard usage), and when I hit tab the borders do move as one would expect for keyboard navigation. I also get the border some settings menus. This, together with the fact that it happens with the Start Menu, shows that it isn't limited to Windows 10 flyouts, but when I revert to default Windows 11 flyouts, then I no longer get this issue. I also want to note that I saw some suggestion to change some keyboard accessibility options, and I tried that, and it made no difference. Still, I will try anything that anyone suggests, even if it's the same thing I've already tried. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Quick Reference Summary of Issues:

• I get a weird, white border around the first pinned item in my Start Menu, but I only get it every now and then.
• I always get a weird, white border around my volume slider in the Windows 10 flyout.
• I always get a weird, white border around the date in the Windows 10 flyout.
• I also sometimes get a weird, white border around the first item in some Settings menus.

I took a screen shot of the volume flyout and the date and time flyout, and I put them together into one. (N.B.: The volume flyout is not normally below the date and time flyout, I just edited the image to make it that way to save space.) I'll attach the image here.

in EP Properties application, go to advanced

disable: Enable advanced mitigations for correct rendering using classic theme

click on Restart File Explorer in bottom left corner.

Selection Box on windows (being only a white border)
So ever since i got windows, my selection box has been a white dotted outline. I looked around and the other solutions haven't helped. BUT! i found on that does for those that have the same problem.

Go to the windows search bar
Type "Advanced"
Click on "View advanced system settings"
Click on the performance settings button
Choose the Visual Effects tab, unless already shown.
Untick and then re-tick the "Show translucent selection rectangle" box.
And without a restart your color should be back.

If you want to change the color and dont know how, here is how:
Open your run command or Win + R
Type in "regedit"
HKEY current user ->
Control Panel ->
Colors ->
Hilight and or HotTrackingColor

When I do this, it just puts a white border around more elements, including the whole grouping on right side of taskbar.

Go to the windows search bar

This has zero effect.

Also, #2323 says in it that it is an OOBE issue and will not be fixed; however, this issue is not OOBE. If I set ExplorerPatcher to default, Windows-11 flyouts, then this goes away completely, in all windows (settings, flyouts, start menu, etc.). And, I didn't have it before ExplorerPatcher.
