Search window positioning issue

EP is really a great software! There is one little glitch that I did not find information about here. So I try with a new thread (sorry in case I missed it...). I position my task bar on the right (but same behavior when on left). When I click the Win/Start icon and then enter a letter to activate the search window (or when I click the search icon), the window switches from upper right (or left) to the system default position, lower left (or only appears there after clicking search). This can be a far distance on a big screen. Can this be fixed?
