Describe the bug

This is the second time this has happened to me. It happened about a year ago and went away on its own. (using latest version from november 5th).

Basically, my start menu is taller and has "all" apps shown instead of being smaller. Even thought there is an X next to "Open Start in All Apps by default." This problem came on suddenly and without any known changes preceding it. It just sort of happened. This morning, when hitting the windows button on my keyboard, I noticed that the start menu looked different and was taller and had an "all" section with a bunch of apps below it. It used to end at recommended (that would be the bottom of the start menu, now it is the middle)
