Batch get (MGET-like) API in valkeyaside

Hi!

I need to fetch multiple cached entities in one call to avoid N+1 patterns. Today I only see single-key get/set.

Proposal (high-level)

• Add a batch get that accepts multiple keys and returns hits + misses.
• Optional: batch set with per-key TTLs.

Questions

• Are there plans to support this?
• Any technical blockers (e.g., cluster cross-slot)?
• If you’re open to a PR, any preferences on API shape and cluster behavior?

Hi @mpieczaba,

Currently, there is no plan to support it since it is hard to implement in the valkeyaside due to Cache Stampede prevention:

It relies on per-key notifications and could be hard to handle in a multi-key context, but we welcome any solution to this.

@rueian Thanks for the explanation. Do you have a suggested workaround - e.g. do you recommend fetching multiple keys one at a time or something else?

Have you tried not using the valkeyaside but using the basic DoMultiCache or the MGetCache helper? I think that could be a good start without Cache Stampede prevention.
