Running vanilla extract with a command

So I'm trying to set up vanilla extract with bun, and I'm not using any of the bundlers listed in the docs:

why isn't there a way to run vanilla extract through a command? that is the simplest possible way to run anything on a computer, yet it seems complex tools are being prioritized over the simplest workflow :(

@leetcow It's likely possible via the processVanillaFile API, though ultimately it hasn't been prioritized since isn't much value in using it outside a bundler. Ultimately you need a way to emit CSS files, which most bundlers support in some way.

As you mentioned in your other comment, Bun's plugin API is mostly compatible with esbuilds, however last time I checked Vanilla Extract relied on a few Node APIs that Bun didn't support yet. I can check again though and get back to you.

as an example, tailwind is made compatible with basically any runner (such as bun) by supporting CLI execution
