usage with existing sass library

i've used css modules in the past with React & Gatsby and favour that approach to "css in js". i was able to extend existing sass libraries and use css modules with webpack or fusebox and use HMR in the dev cycle.

is there an example of to use vanilla-extract with an existing sass library/files? and use to extend the base styles?

i was following this tutorial (https://tsh.io/blog/vanilla-extract-library/ ) on VE and i think it has a lot of merit and i'd like to start exploring it.

any advice would be greatly appreciated
