Some feedback after testing on the tutorial notebooks B session #11
Description
B1:
- The loading of DC2 chunk healpix cutouts can be more clearly explained and how it is exactly this "chunk" different from the exclusion in the next cell. Maybe some visualization on the healpix level can help?
- There are several typos in the markdown cells that can be corrected.
- Maybe write something regarding the multiprocessing in the cell of passing the galaxy catalog to the frame creator object? As not every user can exploit 100 processes...Could the number of processes also be set as a free parameter?
- What's the usage of variable "ihmaxes" in the first cell when plotting the positions of the most massive halos?
B2:
- In creating a shear profile, can removing large values of shears defect the underlying physics? I am just wondering since in this case the foreground shear effects should be determined by the assumed underlying shear profile?
- I feel the part where you discuss about rendering cluster injection is not very clear for me: why the mock catalog of DC2 in this case becomes field galaxies as you call in the image title and I am also wondering does ICL component exhibited in the plot where cluster + field rendered together?
B3:
- Could you please explain how the ICL 2D array is created when the bcg dictionary does not contain the position of BCG? Or it is provided in other imported files?
