TagPilot requires input by default and reports success anyway #1

If I step from uploading a zip and then attempt to use TagPilot to auto-tag, it defaults to Gemini which requires an API key to work. I forgot this was the case, clicked tag, and it told me Tag Success even though there was no API key in there. I didn't even notice the gear at first (must've missed you click it on the video) because it's over top of the yellow status message in the top right.

You may want to consider:

  • Having the out-of-the-box configuration default to a local tagger so that it works immediately w/o input
  • Checking for existence of an API key and throwing an error if none exists for the selected tagger
  • Error handling for the taggers
  • Making the settings gear a little more apparent or moving it into the bar w/ all the buttons so the UX is a little more obvious
