Linux Arch / Manjaro option

I came across this app on F-Droid and have been using it for a while. It does what it says and appears to work well. I've been wondering whether I could use this, either as a download or via Flatpak / Flathub on my laptop to preserve the life of my laptop battery? Would be interested on your thoughts?
