Hide elements / select visible devices

Hi,
I just installed your extensions because I wanted to have some quick toggles on just a few devices. But the extension is showing all devices, grouped by rooms - and it's showing all devices as lights, even my router:

I find this very confusing. Is there any way to hide devices or just select visible devices?

I'm using Home Assistant, btw.

I double down on this. If ever possible, some sort of customization menu: hide items, organize them in some way. I feel this should behave the same as a companion app in this regard. I don't want everything i have in my house at first click. I want a subset and maybe the option to see all. I would love to be able to set how the menu looks like. I realize this may be a lot of work.
To summarize my feature request:

• the ability to edit the menu
  • hide/show items
  • reorder items
  • name an alias for certain items
  • be able to set an item to an automation/script
  • nest items into user defined nested menus
• hide/show the rooms or other nested menus

Hi! Thank you for the ideas. Currently, the extension really can not hide selected items. I will improve it. This is not fast fix, so please be patient.

Hi @Jannomag and @stn777rzv ! The new version (21 and above) allows you to hide selected Home Assistant items in the menu.

• hide/show items
  • done
• reorder items
  • interesting idea, not sure if needed... the order is based on the source order. As it was originally the Philips Hue app only, and the order can be set in the original philips hue app, I have ignored the sorting. I'll be thinking about it. Simple alphabetical sorting could help... maybe.
• name an alias for certain items
  • I do not intend add renaming for home assistant, as I intend this to be just a simplified interface for some HA items. Please rename the item in HA and reload extension.
• be able to set an item to an automation/script
  • I do not want to duplicate HA. You can set it in HA.
• nest items into user defined nested menus
  • Currently not intended, the menu is designed to be grouped by rooms. It would be quite complicated.
• hide/show the rooms or other nested menu
  • A room is shown if an item is present in the room. You can now hide all items in the room and the room will disapppear.
