It looks like Apache Doris aims to be MySQL-compatible so I think #6556 would need to be done first (and perhaps that is all that would need to be done).

Also, Apache Doris has a load method called "Stream Load" which is more efficient, parallel and reliable (in my opinion).

It's based on HTTP, but relies on 307 Temporary Redirect for distributing messages to the backends which is restricted currently in Vector.
