Circular refrence unexpected behavior

I am using Contentful for content and have an Article object which has 'relatedArticles' reference which is an Article object itself, hence circular reference I guess!? Hitting the page that calls the Contentful data actually works fine, only fails on refresh with the circular reference error.

Learn.getInitialProps = async (ctx: NextPageContext): Promise<Props> => {
	{
		const seoTags = await getPage(ctx.pathname)
		const articles = await getArticles()
		return { articles, seoTags }
	}
}

I am wondering why it does not fail in the first place, only when refreshing the page?
