vscode <> error and background color change quesion

Hi y'all hope everyone is doing well!

I have two questions here, the first is that does anyone know how to change the settings of vscode so it won't give me an error when i use <>? The website works just fine but I hate seeing the error popping up everytime i saved it :(

The second question is that I want to have different background color for each page.
Right now i set my background color in the layout module css as well as making the container width and height 100vw/vh, but it will be set for all the pages. If I set it in a module for a specific page, the color only applies to the content.
