Why do I get a "useForm is not a function" error when using React Hook forms in a Next JS project?

Summary

Hello, I encountered a problem when using React Hook Forms in my Next JS project.

I get an error: Error: (0 , react_hook_form__WEBPACK_IMPORTED_MODULE_1__.useForm) is not a function

I can't figure out what the problem is. Why useForm doesn't work?
I have tried to uninstall the node_modules directory. None of these worked.

In NextJS 14, when using useForm from React Hook Form, the component must be marked as a client component. To ensure this, add "use client"; at the top of your file. This directive ensures that the component is rendered on the client side, which is necessary for React Hook Form to function correctly.

Next.js 13+ (with the App Router) runs components server-side by default. Since react-hook-form depends on the browser (window object), it must run client-side. Adding "use client" forces the component to be treated as a client component.
