Goals

Make the Metadata.openGraph object align with the spec and allow for custom types

Background

This is required for implementing OpenGraph tags properly for content that does not fit in the available OG global types.

When the community agrees on the schema for a type, it is added to the list of global types. All other objects in the type system are CURIEs of the form

<head prefix="my_namespace: https://example.com/ns#">
<meta property="og:type" content="my_namespace:my_type" />

Proposal

Add the ability to define a prefix

export const metadata: Metadata = {
  prefix: { namespace: "acme", url: "https://acme.com/ns#" }
  ...
}
// url is optional

should render in the ` tag as

<head prefix="acme: https://acme.com/ns#">

Allow for custom types

export const metadata: Metadata = {
  openGraph: {
    customType: { prefix: "acme", value: "something" }
  }
}

should render as

<meta property="og:type" content="acme:something" />
