Tailwind CSS IntelliSense outside app folder in VSC

Hey guys, I'm having trouble getting Tailwind CSS IntelliSense to work outside the app folder.

Here is my folder structure:

And this is my Tailwind config:

The problem is that I only get IntelliSense for files inside the app folder. Any thoughts? Is this a Next.js-specific issue?
