How can a *\.vercel\.app subdomain lack whois *and* RDAP support?

Summary

I'd like to be able to see registration information for subdomains of *\.vercel\.app.. However, they appear to lack both whois and RDAP data, despite vercel.app. itself providing an RDAP response (presumably, per its TLD).

If I query:

This is expected, because whois is deprecated by all but some ccTLDs. ¹ However, it lacks RDAP, too:
