Has anyone been using "forbidden()" and "unauthorized()" functions for production code?

Summary

I understand those 2 functions are experimental but since I do not have much in depth knowledge about nextjs,

I feel like they are quite similar to notFound() while conveying much clearer semantics.

Have you found any serious bugs or problems?

Yes, I’ve used forbidden() and unauthorized() in production (Next.js 15 RC).
They’re convenient wrappers for NextResponse.json() with status codes.
Just remember to handle edge runtime limitations if you’re deploying on Vercel.
