I built OpenHive, an open-source self-hosted team messaging platform using Next.js 14 App Router.

Features

• Channels, DMs, threads, mentions, reactions
• File uploads and pinned messages
• Video/audio calls with screen sharing (LiveKit)

Tech Stack

• Next.js 14 with App Router and TypeScript

• Zustand for state management
• Supabase for PostgreSQL, Auth, Realtime, Storage, and Edge Functions
