How to use Firestore with swr

I want to be able to use revalidation techniques with the getDoc method from firestore.
Is this possible?

In terms of what's confusing me, what would be the fetcher?

I need this to work with react native btw.

I do know of swr-firestore, but I'm trying to find a way to get this to work without using this library.
