How to update to get caps word?

I downloaded the latest Vial desktop relase, 0.7.5 so I could get the caps_word function on my keyboard. I didn't see it in the Quantum tab like I saw in the pull requests, or any other tab for that matter. It's been years since I flashed my keyboard, so I'm trying to remember if I need to update something on it?

Generally to make use of latest Vial features you need both the latest software (the GUI), as well as the firmware flashed on your keyboard. The recommended way is to ask your keyboard manufacturer or vendor to provide you with a firmware update, but if a keyboard is a part of the vial-qmk repository and has a vial keymap there, you can build it as explained in the porting guide you just don't need to follow any steps related to actual porting if it's already been ported.

Thanks, I do remember something about getting the original files from that vial-qmk repo. I'll get some updated ones from there.
