Environment setup

Could you describe the setup of your environment to mock the basic infrastructure necessary to run this library in local development and in the AWS cloud? I saw reference to moto to run mocks of AWS S3 locally.  Do you test the library locally, then push it up to AWS managed services to deploy it there?  Thanks!
