Still not working for me. It doesn't switch. It used to work but an updates on macOS broke it. I'm on sequoia 15.6.1 M1 Max using an ifi Zen Dac.
The laggy issue was solved though.

This release is much better overall. Thanks for the fixes. Switching seems to happen more reliably in my quick-look testing.
I am running MacOS 15.6.1 btw.

Here are two failure cases:

1. The Turn of a Friendly Card / The Alan Parsons Project / Hi-Res Lossless (24/48) is seen as 24/176.
2. The Dark Side of the Moon / Pink Floyd / Hi-Res Lossless (24/48) is seen as 24/96.

Seems to be working OK for me, Mac Studio M4 Max Tahoe 26.1.

Apple Music 1.6.1.44 with Schiit Yggdrasil DAC OG/A2/Unison USB.

Working fine for me, Mac Mini M4 macOS Tahoe 26.2, using a iFi Zen DAC V1.

Sadly this software is switching the sampling rate mid song, typically changing the rate to which will be the next song.

They need to add support for switching audio quality from any source on Mac not just apple music

I cannot get it to work reliably at this point.

I use Apple Music to play my CDs, but the app won't change the quality, as I keep it at 48 KHz, but the CDs are at 44.1 KHz

Using MacOS 26.3 beta 2, and it doesn't show the quit button

And when I change the audio quality on my Scarlett 4i4 from 44.1 KHz to 48 KHz, the app does not recognize the change
