The issue
I am looking for a particular email in the logs for Jamie
- I know what date the email was received.
- the email address is my main one that gets lots of emails.
- I can only search by the email address
- I can set arbitrary times in the
sincedrop down but this is not specific enough as it will bring back many results
I need finer grain date filtering.
The result I am looking for is on the 1st of February and is nearly 12 days ago. So I can use the 30 day since option but I will have to show 3000 lines and scroll through a lot of entries to find the relevant records. There is no 14 days, the filter goes straight from 7 to 30 (I think I mentioned a 14 day filter was useful 😄 )
The request
I know you have done a lot on the journal and I thought I would just request this.
- Add a custom date range filter option to the
View Journalpage as this would allow fine grain date searching. - Maybe add in the 14 day filter option.
I am aware I could probably do this in the CLI manually, but it defeats the object of the View Journal page.
