Using flowmap.gl in Observable

Hi @ilyabo!

I am trying to use flowmap.gl library in Observable but am having trouble loading the module there. I’ve looked at this article and tried different tools including jsdelivr, unpkg, etc. but nothing seems to work. Would you be able to advise if it's possible to use this tool in Observable and show a mini example?

Sorry if the question is too amateurish. I am new to JS and Observable. I've been using flowmap.blue R widget, which is a great tool but is not being updated unfortunately.

Hi Andrii! Thanks for sharing the Observable discussion thread. I know about the issue and I tried to address it before. The problem is the dependency on deck.gl. One way would be to bundle flowmap.gl and deck.gl together using rollup, although it would make it difficult to combine flowmap and deck.gl layers, but maybe it's still the easiest way. I will give it another try and get back to you.

BTW, there's now another R widget you might consider: https://github.com/JohMast/flowmapper
