S100102 stopped working

Hi,
I have a V2B board which I bought as a complete kit which worked perfectly for a while but now after unpacking the LazySpa for the summer no longer works. The pump itself works without the ESP, so I suspect some moisture got inside the enclosure and fried a component and/or something else went wrong.

The ESP powers up but I cannot get a connection to the CIO, and I see a "abc" status message.

Below is the output of my hardware test (using USB - which I assume is the right approach ?). Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting would be much appreciated !

"1" or "0" indicates ERROR, depending on test state. "-" is good.
Switching cio pins 5s HIGH -> 5s LOW -> input
then DSP pins 5s HIGH -> 5s LOW -> input, repeating
Disconnect cables then reset chip when done!

Might be worth lifting the boards out the headers and looking for corrosion on the pins. Use some acetone or isopropyl to clean it out.

Thank you @metaljay, corrosion ended up to be the problem. Once I removed the ESP32 and the TXS0108E from the sockets, and cleaned it using isopropyl alcohol, my issue was resolved.

I am interested in this test procedure - can you let me know what you were doing please?
Is this test part of the firmware?

@KnT04d , if you go to http://layzspa.local/hwtestinfo.html (assuming your esp32 is accessible at http://layzspa.local), then you will be represented with the hardware test screen. You should disconnect the board from your lazyspa and only be powering the esp32 via USB for the test.

Once you run the test, you will see output similar to as per my previous post.

You ideally want to see no errors. If you see any errors, this indicates that the ESP32 is not receiving a response and there is something wrong on the board (capacitors, resistors) or there is corrosion on the pins - as was the issue in my case (photo doesn't show the corrosion that well - but I had to clean corrosion from all the the pins on my ESP32 as well as the TXS0108E and the female header pins)

I am hoping to avoid this in future by having printed a 3D enclosure for the board (there is a link on this forum somewhere) and also using silicon to make the enclosure as airtight as possible.
