Some tests started failing from vitest 4.0.10 onward in browser mode #9067

Hi, Since I upgraded to vitest@4.0.10 some tests from my suite started failing. I am using browser mode with vitest-browser-react. The tests are failing only in headless mode. If I turn headless mode to false, the tests are passing. When headless mode is turned on I get logs like From here on, I am not sure how I can dig more to see what the problem is. Does anybody has any pointers on how to proceed with investigating what is wrong? Thanks! |

@sheremet-va Thanks for the prompt response. Was that fix released? I still see the issue on 4.0.12. I also saved a screenshot and the iframe still seems that it crops the view (if I understand the issue from #9018). My view contains more fields than what you can see in the image.

It's the opposite. The fix breaks your use case. The image is cropped because that is all that fits the viewport, but Vitest should automatically scroll to the element, maybe it doesn't do that correctly. |

I did some more digging. I have a few types of failures. First type it is the one that I described in the discussion description. This still fails in 4.0.12 (started failing with 4.0.10). I will try to replicate it in a simpler manner. Another type is |

Seems in 4.0.9 my combobox is rendering an input. In 4.0.10, that input is not there anymore. |

I think the UI library I am using is thinking that after 4.0.10 the iframe is a mobile device. I think this is the issue which probably is not vitest issue. |

Hm, you can change the viewport to be bigger so it doesn't treat it as a mobile device (which I think is a correct behavior if you look at the size of it) |
