Mouse Teleporting

When moving the cursor in any direction and clicking (force click) within a very short time, the mouse will reposition itself back where the movement started. This happens all the time with normal use. Additionally, I have attempted to resolve the issue by changing and trying different settings, but nothing fixes the issue.

I have recorded a video sample to show what's going on. I am rolling my finger downward and then clicking.

I am using a USB-C Magic Trackpad. Here are my settings:

Can you try clicking "Do nothing" and also unchecking "Ignore input from the finger used to click the force touch button" and try again? (You can set all other options as you like)

This should completely disable the code that locks the pointer.

Hi, I unfortunately cannot test this again, but I can confirm that disabling both of those options did not fix the issue.

I tried installing Magic Utilities and it made my trackpad stop working on Windows.

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
An unknown item was found in the report descriptor."

The _00 device does not work and shows that the device cannot be started. I was able to get the trackpad working again by installing the official apple driver to the _01 device, which means I can no longer configure it using this project. Funnily enough, the official driver has the same issue. This leads me to believe it's something with my windows configuration, but I'm unsure.

Update! Somehow, installing the driver again on _01 made it work again, and now I can confirm again that changing these options does not fix the issue. It is also noticeably worse using this driver instead of the official driver.

Magic Utilities here: You need to fully uninstall this driver including the DLL. Otherwise both drivers might be loaded and they technically can not work together. We detect the original imbushuo driver and uninstall it but not any additional modified versions.
