Hi all,
I wanted to share an article I wrote about modularity in V, with a focus on how to structure modules, manage state, and communicate between them using an event bus, while keeping modules loosely coupled and easily replaceable.
Over the years, I’ve worked on many open-source projects and experimented with different languages, and I wanted to show how some architectural principles from dynamic languages (like JavaScript and Ruby) can be applied effectively in V, a statically typed language.
The article includes:
I hope this can be useful for others exploring modularity or looking for architectural patterns in V. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Full example and discussion on modularity in V on GitHub Gist – a second file with a Czech version is also included in the Gist.
