Ok, I've figured this issue out, at least for my system. Are you using btrfs? In my case, my fstab had rules for each subvolume including the one I mount to root called '@', but there was no rule for mounting the filesystem without any subvolume, or subvol='/', same thing I think. If you add the rule for it with 'noauto', you let ldm know that your root filesystem is not some external device to be mounted and you take care of it yourself. Otherwise, ldm will try to mount it like normal which includes changing permissions and even trying to delete the mount point later which is a bit scary. So make sure anything you don't want ldm to touch has a line in fstab. |

Hello
So when i link any service i don't have any issue i can still check what is inside /var/service however when i do:
the negative side is /var/service turns red, it is recognizes as directory when i use nano but i can't navigate inside so i have to link to /run/runit/run(something)/current/ for other services
it's only with ldm this package since other packages don't do their job to automount my cd players and usb keys
