Expected behaviour

Attempting to play media with mpv (or clementine) should result in media played and no error message

Actual behaviour

Attempting to play media with mpv (or clementine also tested) results in the following error message:

mpv: error while loading shared libraries: libvpl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I assume that this started with the update to oneVPL/libvpl. Symlinking /usr/lib/libvpl.so.2.14 to /usr/lib/libvpl.so.2 gets mpv and clementine working again on my system.

1. Update system
2. Attempt to use mpv to play media

That symlink is part of the package, something went wrong on your end. Use xbps-pkgdb -a to check whether there are more missing files in your system.

Thanks, looks like libvpl didn't install properly. No errors were reported during the update, however.
