Impossible to access Logger instance

The logger is really really noisy in the log, and I can't access the Logger instance to change the loglevel or reconfigure it.

@paulgrove Thank you for the feedback. Adding it as an enhancement. The logger config is abstracted, will extend the logging level config in the init itself.
