Issue in executing transaction operations on default account.

I am trying to transfer some units from ALICE to BOB on local network but could not find password for ALICE or any of the pre configured accounts in documentation, also tried with empty password and getting the error as shown in the attached image

kindly request you to help by providing the pair password for the pre configured accounts.

thanks for the issue!

Please make sure that you are connected to your localhost and running a substrate node on your device.
Also please set Show development accounts && refresh as you can see in image below. Then you have to reload the app (Ctrl/Cmd + R )

It should work then.

P.S: Which branch did you use ? We usually have latest code in develop branch

Hi @vikiival thanks for the guidance it works for us.
although it works we have noticed one key difference is that it works only with polkadot

However when we tried with substrate-node-template the same didn't work.
could you please guide us if there is an difference between polkadot and substrate-node-template.
