"Umm al qura" calendar support v-datepicker

Trying to get the v-datepicker to support and properly show the Umm al qura calendar type. Have set the locale and first-day-of-week props as suggested, which seems to show the correct calendar layout, but once selecting a date from the calendar, the ouputted/returned date is formatted as Gregorian (see image).

Does the datepicker support this calendar type?
