WebMCP API and accessibility use cases #26

WebMCP API under incubation in the Web Machine Learning Community Group enables web content and apps to be programmatically accessed by AI agents and assistive technologies to create collaborative, human-in-the-loop workflows. This might be relevant emerging technology to be referenced in https://w3c.github.io/ai-accessibility/

One of the design goals of this API is to improve accessibility:

Improve accessibility: Provide a standardized way for assistive technologies to access web application functionality beyond what's available through traditional accessibility trees which are not widely implemented.

As an example, with WebMCP API, users with accessibility requirements can use natural language interaction to interact with web pages and apps.

This work welcomes early review and contributions from accessibility experts and users of assistive technologies to help document use cases that benefit users with accessibility requirements.
