I just took a look at the modern tooling doc and was surprised to see it dated 11 Feb 2021. I suggest updating the publication date and SOTD to have more info about the status of this doc.
As far as I know almost all of it was written by Robin in 2015 and has not been revised since. Much of it is no longer accurate: bugzilla, dev and dvcs have been shut down, the new /groups/ area has launched, etc.
This doc remains interesting as is, it just needs to be noted that "these were the group's thoughts on modern tooling as of 2015"
