What is the most up to date documentation ?

We are checking the techniques necessary to support WCAG 2.1 https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/and we found some inconsistences in the associated W3C documentation for validating them.

For example, if we consider the SC 1.4.11 and look at https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/non-text-contrast.html they indicate some techniques while if look at https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/#non-text-contrast they indicate a slightly different set of techniques, do you know which one is the most accurate indication ?

Unfortunately the Working Group never updated the dataset for the Quick Reference. So the most recent list is probably in the Understanding documents.

Considering that an update for SCs to the Quickref is open since at least November 2019 (w3c/wai-wcag-quickref#201) and merged typo changes have not made it into publication since September 2020 (w3c/wai-wcag-quickref#214), I don’t think this is an actively supported resource anymore. Sad.

The Quickref repo now has a script that enables quickly re-synchronizing it with this repository, so it is now feasible to keep it more up-to-date with updates to the informative docs.

Regarding SCs referenced by both informative docs and quickref, this is still subject to republication within TR space; however, the understanding docs can now display and link to errata that references a specific SC or definition.
