Scribe list & instructions
The person at the top of the list will scribe for the next teleconference. If top person is not able to scribe, the second will scribe and name #1 remains at the top for next time. Once you have scribed, move your name to the bottom of the list.
Note: Chairs and AG WG Chair (liaison) are exempt from scribing.

When it's your turn to scribe at a meeting:
- Scribe the gist of what is being said, not word-for-word.
- Take down who is speaking by including their IRC nickname. Example: suzieq: Scribing is easy.
- Write down if there's general agreement within the group. Example: General agreement that scribing is easy.
Here's some common scribe commands for you to use.

scribe+ your-irc-nickname | Add yourself as a meeting scribe. |
zakim, next item | Opens the next agenda item. |
s/X/Y | Substitutes text X with text Y. Used to make corrections. Example: s/teh/the will replace the most recent occurrence of teh with the. |
RESOLUTION: Group consensus to be noted in the minutes. | Creates a linkable decision to add to our Decisions page. |
Command | Usage |

q+ | Add yourself to the queue |
q+ to Text reminder of your choice | Add yourself to the queue and displays the text reminder when you're acknowledged. |
q- | Remove yourself from the queue |
q? | List who is in the queue |
ack irc-nickname | Acknowledges the person using the nickname and removes them from the queue. SHORTCUT: You can type the first few letters of the irc nickname but be sure that they are a unique sequence for the list of people attending. |

/me Text you want to show up in IRC | This text shows in IRC chat, but does not get added to the meeting minutes. |
To end the meeting, use the following commands.
- zakim, bye
- rrsagent, make minutes
Then send the generated link to the minutes to the group public list: [email protected]
