Automated Minute Taking Process #1266

We have recently started a discussion on automating the minute taking. When there is already not many people in a meeting, we lose a participant since they need to concentrate on taking minutes. So far we have only looked at the built-in Zoom service, which does not work well: Dave Raggett needs to be present, we cannot edit the minutes while they are being written, the minutes are just an email to Dave where he needs to work to make them usable.

Some requirements:

  • Live text output to a text editor (so that we can contribute during the meeting)
  • free to use or sponsored by a company or available to whole W3C

In TPAC, @msporny mentioned their custom tooling. That can be evaluated separately.
