[v2] Discussion: KDE Wayland icon

Maybe someone with more experience can chime-in.
I feel so defeated right now.
I'm on Fedora KDE (Wayland).
Taskbar icon shows the default wayland icon no matter what I do except:

I found two solutions:

• AppImage: Make v2/pkg/commands/build/packager.go create an AppImage for Linux.
  • I ran into another problem here which should be fixable.
  • Basically Window titlebar icon stays on Wayland.
  • Spent some time on this but couldn't make it work.
• Use X11 backend via GDK_BACKEND=x11
