Cannot enter debug shell #320

Hello,
I am failing to get past hardware device detection in the bootstrap process, and warewulf asks to press enter to launch a debug shell. My key presses are ignored and the system reboots.
I have tried setting both postshell and preshell to 1 for this node, which appears to do nothing, although I confirm they are set correctly. I have also tried to set various combinations of kargs but to no effect. Can you indicate how I might be able to get to a debug shell so that I can figure out why the hardware is not recognized? I have checked the correct drivers are included in the bootstrap image.
