Bluetti2mqtt no longer works

Hi,

For the past week, bluetti2mqtt has found the battery but refuses to connect to it. Here is a screenshot of the startup

How to fix it ? Thanks

Problem resolved. I have installed bluetti2mqtt on another nuc under ubuntu. It works perfectly

I can not change my hardware nor do i have any idea how to install ubuntu on a Synology VM.

i have a similar problem, since my update to HA 2025.9. Going back to a previous version don't solves the issue.

FYI @witty-monkey and @ramon8591 this isn't necessarily specific to this repo I don't think, I'm using the bluetti-bt addon not this one and got the same issue on my AC200M after upgrading to HA 2025.9.1 - seems HA is enforcing better BT connection behaviour by add-ons.

To resolve it ChatGPT suggested to add the device's MAC to the list of trusted bluetooth devices, which I did, and that fixed it.
(what's more, the previously-flaky connection to my AC200M has been rock-solid ever since)

you need access to SSH or to attach a keyboard/monitor to your HA install (RPi5 bare-metal in my case, no BT proxy) to run the following

bluetoothctl pair {device MAC here}
bluetoothctl trust {device MAC here}

In my case the pair step failed, but the trust step didn't, and the stats immediately came back online.

For this add-on you may need to restart the add-on, but the actual trust step is apparently at the hardware level and only needs to be done once (i.e. it persists even after HA restart).

This is not function with OS16.2. PI5 ext. Bluetooth Stick
Same problem as before, only works with OS16.1

The pair and trust is function, to connect with AC200MAX Bluetooth is not function.

Have we resolved this yet? I am suffer a similiar problem with an AC180. ChatGpt said to post the log here... But I am curious if anyone tried retrograding to a previous version to see if that worked.
