API Key?

I notice in the documentation that there's an ability to have an API key to submit requests with, but nowhere is is mentioned how to get said API key. Please advise.

Self hosted or using 0x45.st? API key functionality requires SMTP to be configured. Right now on 0x45.st it's not. I will be making some changes here soon though and improving things.

No problem. Once I get some fixes and improvements up, I will make sure to get the official site updated as well so that it supports the full gamut of features.
